Chemical Engineering degree at Industrial Enginneering Faculty - FEI (1981), Master in Biomedical Engineering by State University of Campinas (1996) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis in Materials and Processes by the State University of Campinas (2003). Currently works in the Bioengineering Division of Heart Institute (InCor), University of São Paulo Medical School, Brazil. She has experience in Biomedical Engineering with emphasis on Biomaterials and experience in areas of research abroad. He mainly focused on research and development for biological and polymeric biomaterials, biocompatibility studies of "in vitro" and "in vivo", research and development of cardiovascular devices and prostheses, lyophilization process of biological materials, mechanical, technical processing biomaterias , among others.
