Graduated in Physics at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) (2000), Master in Applied Physics at Instituto de Física de São Carlos of Universidade de São Paulo (IFSC-USP) (2003) and Ph.D. co-tutellage in Applied Physics at Instituto de Física de São Carlos of Universidade de São Paulo (IFSC-USP) and in nanostructures at Université de Grenoble (Actualy Université Grenoble Alpes - UGA) (2006). Post-doctorate internship at Instituto de Química of UNESP at Araraquara/SP (IQ-UNESP), from December/2006 to May/2008. Was Physics Engeneering coordinator of the Instituto de Física of Universidade Federal de Goiás (IF/UFG) between November/2012 and November/2016 (first one of UFG and Goias State). During June/2017 and May/2018 received a CAPES/MEC grant (scholarship of Programa Estágio Sênior no Exterior) and UFG support to carry out a Senior Stage (Post-Doctorate internship) in Canada at Ecole Polytechnique Montréal / Université de Montréal (Physics and Electrical Engeneering Departments), under supervision of Prof. Dr. Raman Kashyap, to study oxide materials for laser cooling. He is currently Full Professor at the Physics Institute of the Federal University of Goiás, From April / 2019 to August/2021 was Deputy Director of the Technological Park Samambaia at UFG and advisor to the Dean of Research at UFG. Member of the Institutional Intellectual Property Committee (CIPI) at UFG since May / 2018. From November/2019 to August/2021 was member of the Executive Committee of the IPElab Network - Ideas, Prototyping and Entrepreneurship at UFG and he is the Director of Physics Institut of UFG since April/2021. During the period from January to March / 2020 and from November to December/2021 he carried out scientific and technological research activities at the Institut Néel of the CNRS de Grenoble in France, as Invited Professor at the Université Grenoble Alpes. He has experience in physics and materials science, focusing on thermal, structural and optical properties of the condensed materials, acting on the following subjects: thin films, ceramics, nanothermometry, nanoparticles, nanostructures, development of phosphorescent and fluorescent materials for displays, random lasers, etc, clays, structural ceramics, glasses and glass-ceramics obtained by chemical processes, as sol-gel process and polymeric precursor method. Since October/2023, he is member of CEHTES - Center of Excellence in Hydrogen and Sustainable Energy Technologies, financed by FAPEG, installed at UFG and has administrative support from FUNAPE.
