Eliana Borges Rivas

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade de São Paulo (1990), master's degree in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the Universidade de São Paulo (1996) and a PhD in Biological Sciences from the Universidade de São Paulo (2002). It is currently research scientist VI of the Instituto Biologico, Sao Paulo. She has experience in Microbiology, with emphasis in Plant Virology, acting on the following subjects: araceous, bulbous, tropical plants and olive trees, Potexvirus ecology, and molecular diagnosis of plant viruses.
