Rafael Pansica has a degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2004), a master's degree in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008) and a PhD in the same field from the University of São Paulo (2016). He also holds a master's degree in Music (musical performance) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2022). He is currently a PhD candidate in Literary Theory and History at the Institute of Language Studies at UNICAMP, with a research internship at the New University of Lisbon. His academic experience focuses on the Arts (Literature and Music) and Human Sciences (Anthropology), working mainly on the following subjects: Brazilian Literature, Guimarães Rosa, Brazilian Popular Music, Hermeto Pascoal, Indigenous Ethnology.
