I have bachelor's degree in Food Engineering (1981), master's degree in Food Technology (1995) and Ph.D. in Food Technology from the State University of Campinas (2004). I am scientific researcher at the Food Technology Institute in the field of plastic packaging and professor of the Ital postgraduate. I have experience in the area of Food Science and Technology, working mainly on the following topics: packaging for foods sensitive to moisture and oxygen and shelf life studies. My students presented studies in the area of packaging and shelf life of foods sensitive to moisture and oxygen and currently in the area of development of flexible packaging with less environmental impact for soluble coffee and with greater recyclability for meat products. In 2020 I started research in the area of renewable source polymers (biobased polymers). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
