Adriano Fagali de Souza

He obtained his Dr in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo -USP in 2004; He has a Masters in Production Engineering and Mechanical Production Engineering from the Methodist University of Piracicaba. In 1992 he completed the technical course in mechanics by the Technical College of UNICAMP. He is a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC / Joinville-BRAZIL. He acts and coordinates several research projects, in topics related to the manufacture of products with complex shapes, employing a chain CAD / CAM / CNC - CAx - manufacturing of molds and matrices. He also studies the High Speed Cutting (HSC) Technology. He is the leader of the Computer Aided Manufacturing Research Group - GPCAM. Author of the book: - Geometries of the manufacturing complex using high speed cutting technology - by VDM Verlag, 2010. Author of the book: - Computer Integrated Engineering and CAD / CAM / CNC systems - by Artliber (2013). Takes part on the committee of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) CEE-261 - for elaboration / revision of the Brazilian Standards on Additive Manufacture. Associate Editor of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering - Springer. He has several scientific publications in congresses and national and international journals. In addition to his professional experience, work has been carried out abroad: at Delcam International plc. England; at the University of Nottingham, England; no Institute - PTW, Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany; no Technological Institute of Monterrey, Mexico; at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru; and not the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Technology Areas of the ENADE (National Student Performance Exam). Evaluator of Higher Course of INEP - Engineering Department.
