André Avelãs Machado de Araújo

Master in Mechatronics Engineering with more than 10 years of practical experience in the development, production and maintenance of electrical medical devices, currently working as Engineering Manager at J.G. Moriya. Has been involved in all phases of medical devices design (mostly electronic, but also mechanical and pneumatic equipment), such as: concept, research and development, prototype testing, product certification, manufacturing and post market activities (maintenance and surveillance). Standout skills include: embedded systems design (especially hardware), electromagnetic compatibility, risk management, product documentation and certification, and quality management systems (mainly ISO 13485).
