Rosangela Rodrigues

Graduated in Medicine at Universidade São Francisco-SP, 1988. Medical residency in infectology at Instituto de Infectologia Emilio Ribas-SP, 1989-1990. Acting for 12 years at SES/SP/SUS, in clinical care and partly in service management 1990-2012. Medical researcher at Instituto Adolfo Lutz SP, working for 10 years in clinical and laboratory research on HIV/AIDS with a focus on genomic variability, Molecular HIV Epidemiology, Genetic resistance to ARVs, Clinical monitoring, Adherence to ARVs, Recent infection, ARVs in children and Elderly. Associate Professor at the Graduate Program in Sciences - CCD/SES-SP, 3 years. Expertise in the Diagnostic Medicine area of the private system, as a senior physician at the Immunology Laboratory, Scientific Company/DASA-SP, for 4 years. Partial Executive MBA in Health, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas /SP, 2012. Brief experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a medical advisor on HIV/HBV, Bristol-Myers Squibb, SP, 2012. International experience as a technical advisor at the Instituto Nacional de Combate against AIDS -INLS/MS, Luanda, Angola, 2013 and, later, as a consultant in Strategic Information on HIV/AIDS at the UNAIDS office, Angola, 2014. After 4 years, I took over consultancy in the area of Laboratory Tests for the PrEP Adolescents project , a partnership between WHO, the Ministry of Health, the University of São Paulo and the SP Municipal STD/AIDS Program. In 2019, I joined the Reference and Training Center STD/Aids-SP, in the medical care of people with HIV/Aids, through the project "Linking and retention of people living with HIV in public health services: a demonstrative project in the city of São Paulo, Brazil". In 2021, I started to collaborate on the Board of the Infectious Diseases and Specialties Outpatient Center and, in 2022, on the Management of Comprehensive Health Care for PLHIV, at PE-IST/Aids-SP.
