Ing Hwie Tan

I have a Bachelor's (1980) and a Master's (1984) degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1992), USA. I was a post-doc in the Plasma Laboratory of the Physics Institute at USP, in the Agronomical Sciences School of the State university of São Paulo (UNESP-Botucatu) and in Escola Politecnica at USP. I am presently a Researcher at the brazilian National Institute of Space Science. I have research experience in Thermonuclear Fusion , Surface Plasma Treatment, Plasma Immersion Ion Implantation, and I am presently working in Space Plasmas, in the construction of Scientific Satellite´s plasma detectors.
