Ana Paula Zimiani Vicente

I hold a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences from the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences (PPGCam/UFSCar) and a Bachelors degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UNESP in Presidente Prudente (2015). I also have a technical degree in Administration (ETEC, 2018), and postgraduate specializations in Sustainable Management and the Environment (PUC-PR, 2019) and Landscape Design (Faculdade Metropolitana).Since 2021, I have been part of the GTPU Research Group (Urban Parks Working Group) in São Carlos, focusing on urban green spaces. My academic journey began in 2012 with participation in the thematic project Economic Logics and Contemporary Spatial Practices: Medium-Sized Cities and Consumption (GAsPERR/UNESP), where I conducted FAPESP-funded undergraduate research on social practices in Presidente Prudentes shopping centers and their connections or disconnections with urban space.My main interests lie in urban environmental planning, public policy, urban infrastructure, urban ecology, landscape architecture, and sustainability with an emphasis on nature-based solutions and green infrastructure (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
