Ticiano Guimarães Leite

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006). Completed his Master's (2005) and PhD. (2008) degrees in Animal Reproduction, at Federal University of Minas Gerais. Works in Animal Reproduction, with emphasis on Animal Andrology. He fineshed his pos-doctorate course (2015) in Animal Reproduction at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of University of São Paulo (FMVZ-USP), under the supervision of Prof. Rubens Paes de Arruda. Under the supervision of Prof. Rubens de Arruda Paes, with the support of the research group of Professors Vicente Ribeiro do Vale Filho and Venício José de Andrade from UFMG, in his Post-Doc he developed researches on methods of bovine semen cryopreservation, equilibration time, and the use of Cholesterol Loaded Cyclodextrin (CLC) and LDL in the process of cryopreservation. He has experience on evaluation of sperm quality through the use of fluorescent probes (for epifluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry), sperm sexing, and Computer Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA). In 2016, he taught the discipline of Veterinary Anatomy - Musculoskeletal System at the University Center Newton Paiva. In 2017, he taught the discipline of Animal Reproduction II - Andrology and the disciplines of Bacterial and Viral Diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Faculty of Administrative Studies of Minas Gerais (FEAD). Taught the Disciplines of Descriptive Anatomy of Domestic Animals (2019), Agricultural Economics (2019 and 2020) and Basic Veterinary Genetics (2019 and 2020) at Univeritas-BH Faculty. In 2022 and 2023, he taught the Disciplines of Animal Structural Anatomy and Animal Sistemic Anatomy at Faculdade Estácio-BH and Lecturer of Postgraduate Courses in Animal Nutrition and Reproduction in Large Animals at Faculdade Qualittas in Belo Horizonte - MG. Currently, he teaches the disciplines of Anatomy of Domestic Animals II, Pathophysiology of Male Reproduction, Pathophysiology of Female Reproduction, Veterinary Obstetrics at the UNIFEMM University Center - Sete Lagoas - MG.
