Moisés Vidal Ribeiro obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas in 2005. He was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2004, a visiting professor at Stanford University in 2011, and a visiting researcher at Princeton University in 2012. Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at the same university. He is a founding member of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Electrical Energy (INERGE). He was a member of the INERGE Management Committee and, since July 2020, has served as the director of INERGE. He co-founded Smarti9 Ltda and Wari Ltda. His research interests include signal processing, digital data communication, artificial intelligence, power line communication, and satellite communications.. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
