Graduated in Medicine from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (1976-1981), Medical Residency in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology (1982-1984). Professor at the Pediatric Endocrinology Unit (1985-current), PhD in Endocrinology from the University of São Paulo (1987-1993) and postdoctoral in Molecular Endocrinology from the National Institutes of Health-NIH (1997-1998). Professor at Santa Casa SP School of Medical Sciences - Discipline of Molecular Medicine (1999-current). He is currently Associate Professor of the Pediatrics Dept. at Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de SP and Full Professor at the Santa Casa de SP School of Medical Sciences. Experience in the area of Pediatric Endocrinology and Molecular Medicine, acting as a supervisor for undergraduate students, postgraduate sensu lato (residency and specialization), postgraduate sensu stricto (master and doctoral degree) and postdoctoral supervisor, mainly in following thematic lines: Hormonal Dysfunctions and Molecular Changes in Growth Disorders, Gonadal Dysfunctions and Steroidogenesis Abnormalities with emphasis on Androgen and Glucocorticoid Sensitivity.
