Graduated in Biological Sciences - Medical Modality at the Federal University of São Paulo UNIFESP (1997), Master in Molecular Biology at UNIFESP (2000), PhD in Sciences (Molecular Biology) at UNIFESP (2004) and post-doctorate in Medical Genetics at the University of São Paulo (USP). She is an Associate Professor at the USP School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities in the subjects of Human Physiology, in the Biotechnology course. She is vice coordinator of the Biotechnology course and coordinator of the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at EACH. Experience in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, working mainly in the area of cellular physiology of the skin and tissue bioengineering, antioxidant protection of the skin, development of a platform for the study antimicrobials, in addition to the study of the molecular mechanism of chronic non-communicable diseases such as diabetes.
