Degree in Materials Engineering in the Paraíba Federal University (1991), Masters in Materials Science and Engineering in the São Carlos Federal University (1995) and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering in the São Carlos Federal University (2000). Part of the doctorate was developed at the University of Aveiro in Portugal. Between 2000 and 2002 a postdoctoral studies was been done at the LIEC-CMDMC (Multidisciplinary Center for the Characterization and Development of Ceramic Materials) at the Chemistry Department of UFSCar. From 2002 to 2006 worked as a teacher at the São Francisco University in Itatiba-SP, where she was part of the Stricto-Sensu Post-Graduation Program in Engineering and Materials Sciences and attended the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate course. New Postdoctorate was held between 2009 and 2010, at the Institute of Ceramics and Glass of the Higher Council of Scientific Research (CSIC), in Madrid. From November 2019 to December 2020, a postdoctoral position was developed at the University of California, Davis in the United States under the PRINT - INSTITUTIONAL PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONALIZATION / CAPES. Since 2006 works as an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in the Department of Materials and Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Mining, Metallurgy and Materials PPGE3M. Coordinated the Material Engineering Undergraduate Course from 2014 to 2016. Participated in the graduation committee of the Physical Engineering course. (2010 to 2012) and Metallurgical Engineering course (2018 to 2020). Coordinate the Advanced Ceramic laboratory associate to the LABIOMAT. The research activities experience are in the area of Materials Engineering, with emphasis on Ceramics, working mainly in the following subjects: Ceramic Processing, Synthesis of powders, Varistors, electronic ceramics and oxide solid solar cell (SOFC).Currently also is research Productivity Scholarship holder Level 2 of the CNPq.
