Bachelor's at Biology - Medical Modality from Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (1997-2001). Ph.D. from Escola Paulista de Medicina - UNIFESP (2001-2006) and at Childrens Hospital - University of Cincinnatti (2004), focusing on Molecular Immunoparasitology, acting on the following subjects: Leishmania and enteroparasitosis . Post-doctoral at UNIFESP-Federal University of São Paulo (2014-2015) in L. (L.) amazonensis and is associate professor and researcher in Faculdade de Medicina do ABC - Fundação do ABC (since 2015).
