Alfeu Saraiva Ramos

Graduate in Chemical Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia Química de Lorena (1992), Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1997) and ph.d. in Material Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia Química de Lorena (2001). He is currently adjunct professor IV at the Federal University of Alfenas, in which he develops teaching, research and extension activities. He is leader of the research group (CNPq base) in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of Materials of UNIFAL and permanent professor of PPGCEM-UNIFAL, acting in two lines of research: metal alloys for technological applications and materials and ceramic composites. He has experience in the area of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, with emphasis in Metals and Alloys Structure, and Transformation Engineering, working mainly in the following topics: high energy grinding, titanium alloys, biomaterials, sintering, intermetallics, ceramic compounds, mechanical conformation and mechanical properties..
