José Paulo Cabral de Vasconcellos

He holds a degree in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (1990) and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2001). He is currently a Free Professor (MS5.1) in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology/Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP and also works as a supervisor in the postgraduate course in Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Unicamp, focusing on Ophthalmology. He has experience in the field of ophthalmology, with an emphasis on glaucoma and the genetics of ocular disorders; working mainly on the following topics: glaucoma, genetics, blindness prevention, glaucoma diagnosis, quality of life related to ophthalmology and veterinary ophthalmology.
