Paulo Roxo Barja is a physicist (UNICAMP) and a musician (Lavignac) with postdoctoral studies (ESALq/USP, 2000/2001); PhD in Sciences (UNICAMP, 2000); Master's in Physics (UNICAMP, 1996). Since Feb / 2002, Professor at UNIVAP, where he coordinates the Laboratory of Applied Statistics. Participation in more than 120 scientific events in Brazil, Europe, USA, Egypt and Latin America. He supervised about 30 master's dissertations in the areas of Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering, in addition to several conclusion papers in the areas of Biomedical Engineering, Education and Communication. To date, he has published more than 270 papers in event proceedings, more than 90 papers in academic journals and 9 book chapters. Since 2002, he has been an evaluator of the Latin American Scientific Initiation and Postgraduate Meeting held annually by UNIVAP. He is a reviewer of several journals, including Revista UNIVAP. He has 16 published books, including "Música e Sociedade" (Appris, 2017) e "Pinheirinho: não esquecemos, não perdoamos" (2022), in addition to almost 100 cordel leaflets on various topics (environment, history, politics and health, among others). He has organized collective literary productions from workshops he teaches in schools, universities and other spaces. His main lines of research are related to Applied Statistics and Communication.
