Ronaldo Teixeira Martins is a speech writer at the Brazilian Federal Senate and a Portuguese Language professor at the University of the Federal District (UnDF). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Language Studies (Portuguese and Latin) from UFJF (1994), a Master's degree in Linguistics from Unicamp (1997), and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Unicamp (2004). He has also completed a specialization in Legislative Political Communication at Cefor/Câmara dos Deputados (2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Law at UnB (2024). He has extensive experience in the field of Linguistics, particularly in Computational Linguistics, working as a project manager (UNDL Foundation, NILC), consultant and language expert (Lionbridge, Microsoft, Nuance, Itautec), and as a researcher (FAPESP, CNPq, Capes, FINEP, Fondation Hans Wilsdorf). He has also worked in Brazilian universities as an undergraduate professor (Univás, Mackenzie, USF), a professor and advisor in the stricto sensu postgraduate program in Language Sciences (Univás), an editor of scientific journals (Todas as Letras, Entremeios), and a coordinator of undergraduate Language programs (USF, Mackenzie).
