Currently, Senior Research Scientist at the Center of Environmental Studies and Research (NEPAM/UNICAMP), Professor of the Graduate Program on Environment and Society at UNICAMP, CAPES 6. Coordinator of the the Graduate Program on Environment and Society at UNICAMP (2016-2018). Research Associate at CASEL/ACT- Indiana University (IU, USA) (2001-on) and long-term research collaboration with CEDLA (Netherland). Guest Research at the Department of Anthropology and ACT at the Indiana University (2003-2004, 2010, 2014) and at the Center of Latin American Studies and Documentation (CEDLA) in Amsterdan, Netherlands (2012, 2014). Leader of the CNPq Research Group Human Ecology and Governance and Coordinator of the Laboratory of Human Ecology (LEHMA)/UNICAMP. Advisorship and co-advisorship of PhD students. Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Sao Carlos (2006-2010) and Associate Professor at the SENAC - Sao Paulo (2004-2006). Publication of 32 articles in peer-reviewed journals (17 international and 15 national), one book on Environmental Governance in Brazil (2015) and 12 book chapters (6 international and 6 national) and 33 papers presented at Scientific Meetings (18 international and 15 national). Participation of more than 40 scientific meetings (21 international). Coordination of 7 funded research projects (FAPESP and CNPq). Recently, I have coordinated FAPESP project AGENTS as part of the Belmont Forum/Norface T2S program on Transformation to Sustainability, participation of 6 universities from 4 countries (Brazil, USA, Netherland, Sweden) and currently I coordinate the FAPESP thematic project (ENLACES or LINKAGES in English) linked to the Brazil-Netherlands Program of FAPESP-NWO of the Call on Biobased Economy.
