Full Professor of Political Science at UFRGS, Researcher at CNPq and Coordinator of the Center for Studies in Elites, Justice and Political Power -NEJUP/CEGOV/UFRGS. Since 2020, he has been a member of the International Research Collaborative Lawyer and State Transformations at the Law Society Association and is a Collaborating Researcher at the Center for Studies in Law and Social Sciences (DECISO / IESP / UERJ). He was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Political Science at UFRGS (2011-2015 and 2019-2021), Member of the National Board of the Brazilian Association of Political Science -ABCP (2018/2020). He was Visiting Professor at the Un. Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne at the Center Européen de Sociologie et de Science Politique - CESSP with CAPES Scholarship (2017-2018). Visiting Professor at Un. de Rosário-UNR (2015/2), École Normale Supériore Paris-Saclay (2014/2), Guest Professor at the École des Hautés Études en Sciences Sociales -EHESS at the Center Maurice Halwbachs (2010/2) and at the Center de Recherche sur le Brésil Contemporaine (2006/2 ). Adjunct Professor of the Dept. of C.Sociais, PPG Social Sciences and the PPG Political Science of UFSCAR (2006-2009). He was founder and coordinator of the Thematic Area "Politics, Law and Judiciary" at ABCP. At ANPOCS he was coordinator of the WGs "Jurists in society: political conflicts and meanings of law" (2016), "Judicial Institutions, agents and public repercussion" 2014/2015 and "Judiciary, activism and politics" (2010). Areas of expertise: Judicial and Political Institutions, Political Sociology, Studies on the formation and recruitment of leading groups. He is currently developing research with an emphasis on the relationship between training, associativism, international circulation and the political and corporate recompositions of jurists.
