Josildeth Gomes Consorte was the first researcher contracted by the Brazilian Center for Educational Research (CBPE), created and directed by Anísio Teixeira (Rio de Janeiro, 1955). She is a founding partner of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology (ABA since 1955) and Doctor Honoris Causa by the State University of the Southwest of Bahia (UESB). She participated in the Bahia State Project Columbia University, directed by Anisio Teixeira between 1950 and 1952. She has been a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo since 1964, one of those responsible for the "basic cycle" at PUC-SP. His interest involves several areas of knowledge such as Anthropology as Education, Brazilian Religious Manifestations and Ethnic Relations. He was born in Salvador (BA), on 06/21/30, as Josildeth da Silva Gomes. Ali did her first and middle school (normalista) studies, having started her professional life as a primary teacher in local schools. He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and History from the Federal University of Bahia (1951) and a degree in Geography and History from the University of Brazil, currently the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1957). He studied the Anthropology and Sociology sequences at the School of Sociology and Politics Foundation of São Paulo (1952). He received his postgraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Columbia (New York - USA) and Chicago (Chicago - USA) between 1953 and 1955. He received his doctorate in Human Sciences from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP, 1973) in which the faculty joined in 1966.
