Ricardo Alan Verdú Ramos

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (1988) by UNESP (Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira), Master (1991) and PhD (1998) by UNICAMP (Department of Energy at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and Associate Professor by UNESP (2004). Since 1992 is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UNESP at Ilha Solteira. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering area, with emphasis on Energy and Heat Transfer, acting on the following topics: Optimization of Process and Thermal Equipment, Energy Planning, Energy Efficiency, Biofuels, Bioenergy, Generation and Cogeneration of Energy. He is member of CNPq Research Groups (Renewable Sources and Energy Utilization, and Numerical and Analytical Methods in Mechanical Engineering) and he is Coordinator of NUPLEN (Center for Energy Planning, Generation and Cogeneration of Energy) and also of the Bioenergy Research Institute (Associated Laboratory of Ilha Solteira), in which develops projects and guides graduate and undergraduate students, with support from development agencies and companies, publishing several papers.
