The treatment of the carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) can be by clinical procedures or surgical. Surgical treatment is costly and may be associated with complications. Clinical treatment with Laser is simple, easy to perform and inexpensive, but its efficacy for the CTS is controversial. The aim of this study is to test the likely effectiveness of laser for treatment of CTS in our region. (AU)
Romberg syndrome is a rare clinical condition, the main pathogenetic hypothesis are simpathetic dysfunction or localilzed scleroderma. This study proposes ENMG studies on 4 limbs and affected hemiface of patients with Rombergs syndrome and localized scleroderma, looking for identity or separation between the two clinical conditions. There are several clinical complications caused by chronic exposure to prsticidas on the peripheral nervous system. Our hypothesis is the possible antigenic rule of chemical compounds from pesticides to the pathogenesis of myasthenia gravis. In this work we surch possible statistic correlations between chronic exposure to pesticides and myasthenia gravis. (AU)
