The researcher has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where she obtained the degrees of Licentiate in Biological Sciences, and Bachelor in Zoology. He holds a Master's degree in Ecology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a PhD in Ecology and Natural Resources at the Federal University of São Carlos, SP. Participated in the Biota-Fapesp Program as a Postdoctoral fellow, developing the Project "Biodiversity, spatial distribution and life cycle of Macrothricidae and Ilyocryptidae in Continental Ecosystems of the State of São Paulo". He completed a postdoctoral internship at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the Environmental Dynamics and Planning, at the #8203;#8203;Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing area, and developed the project "Multitemporal analysis of the land use and limnological conditions of oxbow lakes in floodplain of Middle Rio Taquari Basin, MS, Brazil. Currently, he develops research in environmental analysis of watersheds, approaching diagnosis of land use and vegetation cover for the implementation of biodiversity corridors and in Teaching and Extension projects in Environmental Education. She is an professor at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul, working in the Geography course, Campo Grande Unit, where she teaches the disciplines, Landscape Ecology, Biogeography, Environmental Impact Assessment and Solid Waste Management.
