Marcos de Souza Queiroz

I graduated myself in Social Sciences (Anthropology) in the State University of Campinas (1975), I got a master degree in Social Antropology in the State University of Campinas (1978) and concluded my Ph.D. in Sociology in the Manchester University, England (1982). Presently, I work as a researcher in the Center of Memory of Unicamp (CMU) and as a lecturerer in the post graduation program in the Department of Nursery, from the Faculty of Medical Sciences in State University of Campinas. I have been doing research in the area of Social Sciences, Health and Medicine; social representations of helth and disease; governamental and cultural institutions on health and diseases; Analysis on governamental and Popular institutions on health and medicine; Work Process in the Health Area and Institucional and Cultural analysis of the University environment with special focus on the production of interdisciplinary knowledge.
