With conservation, restoration and enhancement of architectural assets as a research area, it has several specialization courses in conservation and restoration of monuments and works of art carried out in international institutions between the years 1983-1988: Centro Studi per il Restauro dei Monumenti and Centri Storici del CECTI di Firenze; Università Internazionale dell Arte di Firenze, in addition to several improvement courses in the area of preservation of cultural assets at the Università degli Studi di Bologna. Research internships at the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC) in Lisbon, Portugal (2010) and at the Centro Nazionale di Ricerca _ Istituto per le Tecnologie Applicate ai Beni Culturali (CNR_ITABC ) in Rome, Italy (2011)- [FAPESP/ n . 09/13903-3] .
