Graduated (1996), master's (1998) and doctorate (2002) in Physics from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), postdoctoral (beginning of 2002 to end of 2008) at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (CSIC), Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and Universitat de Barcelona (Ramon y Cajal Position). He is currently Associate Professor MS-5.3 at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and coordinator of the Laboratory of Materials and Low Temperatures (LMBT). He has experience in Physics, with emphasis on Condensed Matter Physics, working mainly on the following subjects: nanomagnetism (magnetic nanowires, nanoparticles and geometrically ordered nanometric systems), Electron transport phenomena (giant magnetoimpedance, magnetoresistance), Magnetization processes in nanosystems magnetic.
