Former Professor of Medical Semiotics at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (20092011). Holds the title of Specialist in Neurology by the Brazilian Academy of Neurology. Certified in Pediatric Neurology by the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. Certified in Clinical Neurophysiology (Electroencephalography) by the Brazilian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology. Published 83 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 70 conference papers. Authored or co-authored 91 book chapters and 9 books. Supervised or co-supervised 20 masters dissertations and 10 doctoral theses. Recipient of 10 awards and/or honors. Served as President of the Brazilian Society of Child Neurology (20142015) and Member of the Education Committee of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology (20162018).
