Ricardo Marques Coelho has a BS degree in Agronomy by Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, a MS degree in Soils and Plant Nutrition by Universidade Federal de Viçosa and a Soil Science PhD degree by North Carolina State University, USA. Currently, he is a Research Scientist at Instituto Agronômico (IAC), São Paulo state. He is also professor and supervise student reseach at the Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture graduate program of IAC. He works as scientific editor for the journal Bragantia, and as reviewer for other scientific journals as well as consultant for Fapesp, CNPq and SciELO. In Agronomy, his empahsis is with Soil Morphology, Genessis and Classification, Soil Mineralogy, Soil mapping and Soil-Landscape relationships. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
