She is Full Professor at Universidade Paulista, permanent professor at Graduate Programs in Environmental and Experimental Pathology (CAPES 5), manager of the Center for Research in Biodiversity, CRBio, Universidade Paulista. Member of the Ethics in Animal Use Committee. Research interests rely on Pharmacognosy, Toxicology of Plants, Pharmacology and Microbiology, specifically: evaluation of antitumor, antimicrobial, antioxidant activities and toxicity of plant extracts and essential oils to be used against human, oral and veterinarian pathologies, and evaluation of the plant extract influence on the behavior of lab animals.
