Eulalia Portela Negrelos

Eulalia Portela Negrelos, since 2007, is a professor and researcher in IAUUSP-Institute of architecture and urbanism-USP-São Carlos, in the graduate disciplines Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil and Environmental Planning and Urbanism, and in the postgraduate discipline Housing and the Construction of the Urban Environment (title changed in 2014 for Housing and City. Plan, design and production process), in the Concentration Area of Architecture, Urbanism and Technology. Postgraduate advisor in the Area of Concentration of Theory and History of architecture and Urbanism. Performance in the following research lines: 1. Architecture, City and Landscape in Brazil and in Latin America; 2. Housing and infrastructure in the city and in the territory: production and public policy. In the Research Group URBIS (Urbanism, City and Housing History), works in the research axe ?Urbanization and Social Housing?, with researches in Housing History field. Works in the Research Group CACAL (Culture, Architecture and City in Latin America) Architect and Urbanist (1984) by the Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo. Master (1998) and Doctor (2005) in Architecture and Urbanism from FAU-College of architecture and urbanism at USP University of São Paulo. Urban planning and management specialist (1987) by INAP Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública, in Madrid. AIHU-Iberoamerican Urban History Association, associated since 2013. Operates in research in the topic: State, Planning and Social Housing in Brazil and Latin America. Recent research projects with financial support of FAPESP: 2017-2018 ?State, planning and housing in Brazil post-1964. The consolidation of the urban form housing set?; 2011-2013 ?Social Housing in Brazil post-1964. Architecture, City and Management. Un comparative study between the production of BNH/COHABs and CEF/PAR in cities of the estate of São Paulo?. International experience - Participes in GIAU+S - Grupo de Investigación en Arquitectura Urbanismo y Sostenibilidad (ETSA/UPM)-Madrid, since 2021. 2008-2014, Profesor in the courses "Capacitación en Planificación y Gestión Urbano-territorial en municipios" (ITEMCIUDAD - Inst. Territorio y Ciudad - FAM - Federación Argentina de Municipios) towards public staff. Teaching in graduate courses of Architecture and Urbanism, since 1988, in the State of São Paulo, in the disciplines of Urbanism, Urban Planning, Urbanism History and Theory of Urbanization (Catholic University of Santos, UBC/Mogi das Cruzes, UNICSUL and PUCCampinas) and post-graduate in urban management, in 2002 and 2003 (UNI-and FUNDAÇÃO SANTO ANDRÉ). Participated in São Paulo municipal administrations in the areas of urban planning and social housing: São Paulo (1989-1992 and 2004), Santos (1993), Diadema (1994-1996), Mauá (1997), Santo André (1997-1998) and Guarulhos (2001-2003). Coordinated participatory processes of elaboration of municipal master plans, among others: Jaguaquara/BA and Alagoinhas/BA (1999-2001); Bonito/MS (2001); Biritiba-Mirim, SP (2002); Jacareí/SP (2003-2004); Vitória/ES (2004) and Fortaleza/CE (2006). In 2011/2012, by the IAU-USP, in contract between the municipality of São Carlos and FUSP, participated in the revision of the master plan of São Carlos/SP. In the studio of architecture and urbanism, in partnership with Marcos Boldarini of 2000 to 2006, actuated: 1. in projects of public spaces in processes of regularization of settlements in São Paulo (Program "Legal Plot", Resolo/SEHAB, 2002 and 2003); 2. in book publishing "Resolo-Regularization of Allotments in the City of São Paulo (2003); 3. performing the technical supervision of integrated projects of urban development, environmental sanitation and social work within the PAT PROSANEAR, program coordinated by the Ministry of Cities, with financial support of BIRD, in 2005/2006 (Cuiabá/MT, Feira de Santana, Bahia and São Paulo/SP) orcid.org/0000-0003-4093-9082 (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
