Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1985), including baccalaureate and undergraduate, master's degree in Education (Curriculum) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1995) and Ph.D. in Environment and Society at the University of Campinas (2010). Has experience in the area of ecology and sociology, with an emphasis on socio-environmental conflicts related to management of protected areas, in particular related to the presence of traditional populations in units of full protection. Currently involved in two research projects in NEPAM / UNICAMP. He worked for 28 years in public (State Secretary of Environment of São Paulo), with 17 years in environmental conservation and environmental education in 11. It was university professor (UNISA, UNITAU, UNIFIEO and Teresa Martin Institute) and professor of biology at public and private schools of education. Currently develops post doctoral research in management from territories occupied in the coastal and environmental vulnerability, and environmental consulting projects and educational.
