Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP/Botucatu in 1995. Medical Residency in Zoonoses and Public Health, FMVZ-UNESP/Botucatu, during 1996 to 1998, under the supervision of Prof. Helio Langoni. Concluded the Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine at FMVZ-UNESP/Botucatu in 2001, Doctorate in Pathology at Botucatu Medical School - FMB-UNESP/Botucatu in 2005 and Post-Doctorate at Institute of Biosciences from Botucatu (IBB-UNESP) in 2007, under the supervision of Prof. Eduardo Bagagli. From 2010 to 2023, I was a teacher at the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Sector of Microbiology and Immunology, IBB/UNESP, teaching classes of General and Medical Mycology for Undergraduate (Veterinary Medicine, Animal Sciences, Biomedicine, Medicine, Nursing, Nutrition and Biological Sciences) and Postgraduate (General and Applied Biology of IBB/UNESP and Veterinary Medicine of FMVZ/UNESP). In 2019 I became Associate Professor and my research interests includes Animal and Human Medical Mycology, Pythium insidiosum and pitiosis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
