Marcio Fontana

Dr. Marcio Fontana holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC, 1999), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB, 2001), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2004). He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Georgetown University (Washington, DC, USA, 2011). Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Dr. Fontana has expertise in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on nanostructured materials, device modeling, industrial automation, and engineering education. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
