She is graduated in Exact and Experimental Sciences with a specialization in Biology from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (1995) and postgraduate with a Master's and Doctorate in Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine at USP (2000 and 2008, respectively) and post-doctorate in Applied Immunology at the Butantan Institute (2011). She has experience in the fields of Pulmonary Physiology and Applied Immunology, primarily focusing on experimental studies of pulmonary diseases. Technical advisory in the accreditation of medical schools by Saeme and participation in medical education research groups, combined with a specialization in Health Education, expanded her role as a researcher in the field of Medical Education at the Center for Medical Education Development (CEDEM) at the Faculty of Medicine of USP and at the Faculty of Medicine São Leopoldo Mandic, where she also advises the Coordination of the Medical Course and participates in the Directorate of Academic Products.
