The author of the cururicuu holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Bahia (1992), a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000) and a PhD in Tropical Diseases from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007). She has experience in the area of Veterinary Medicine in the small animal clinic. Experience as a teacher, with emphasis on Infectious Diseases of Animals, working mainly on the following topics: Leptospira, Diagnosis, Immunoperoxidase, Epidemiology. Autota also has didactic experience in the areas of Infectious Diseases in Public and Animal Health and Scientific Research Methodology, Basic and Veterinary Microbiology. Legislation and Ethics in Veterinary Medicine, Rural Economy. The author has experience in coordinating Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science courses.
