Member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (1986), Member of the American Chemical Society (2015). Advisor to 37 international magazines in the area of #8203;#8203;Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry, Advisor ad hoc from CNPq, FAPERGS, FAPESC, FACEP and FAPESP. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Organic Chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Synthesis of molecules with biological activity (Cancer, Neurodergenerative Diseases and Neglected Diseases). Synthesis and Application of Metal / Silica and Hydrotalcite Composites as Catalysts in Multicomponent Reactions Combined with Click-Type Reactions.He is the author of 55 publications in national and international scientific journals.
