Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1982); Specialization in Chemistry from the University of Sâo Paulo (1983); 1 year experience in Food Industry (1984); Master in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1989); PhD in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1995); CNPq Newly PhD fellow at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996); Adjunct Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1997); Post-Doctorate at the State University of Campinas (2005); CNPq Productivity Scholarship 2009-2011-2014-2017-2018-2020. Member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (1986), Member of the American Chemical Society (2015). Advisor to 37 international magazines in the area of #8203;#8203;Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry, Advisor ad hoc from CNPq, FAPERGS, FAPESC, FACEP and FAPESP. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Organic Chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Synthesis of molecules with biological activity (Cancer, Neurodergenerative Diseases and Neglected Diseases).
