Vera Maria Silveira de Azevedo

Graduated in Medicine at UFS (Federal University of Sergipe) in 1993,master's degree in Medicine (Surgical Clinic) from FMRP-USP (University of São Paulo) defended in 1997 and also doctorate in Medicine (Clinical Surgery) from FMRP-USP (University of São Paulo) defended in 2001, TSA (Superior Title of Anesthesiology) in 2011. Interned at the Clinic for the treatment of pain at the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo in 1997.He participated as a member of the Ambulatory Anesthesia Committee of the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology. He participates in UFS Medical Residency, as Co-responsible for the SBA Menino Jesus de Praga Teaching and Training Center (CET) since 2012 and the Anesthesiology Medical Residency of Hospital Santa Izabel in Aracaju-SE.Effective professor of the discipline ANESTHESIOLOGY at the Federal University of Sergipe. She has a Certificate of Performance in the Pain area granted by AMB and SBA since 2003. Coordinator of the Pain and Palliative Care service at the Hospital de Urgência in the state of Sergipe - Oncology Center since 2000. Vice-president of the Sergipana Association for the study of pain (ASSOSED) since 2016He has experience, as a teacher, in the field of Pharmacology, with an emphasis on General Pharmacology, acting mainly on the following themes: acute and chronic pain (postoperative pain, oncological pain and chronic non-oncology), acupuncture, sufentanil and visual analog scale and care palliative.She has been a member of the Palliative Care Team at the University Hospital of the Federal University of Sergipe since its creation in 03 2018 and conducts research in the area of #8203;#8203;palliative medicine.
