I have a degree in Physical Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1985), a master's degree in Sports Science from the State University of Campinas (1993), a PhD in Sports Science from the State University of Campinas (1998) and a postdoctoral degree from Unesp - Rio Claro Campus (2005). I spent eight months (July 2012 to February 2013) as a Visiting Professor at the University of Calgary working on a research project together with Prof. Walter Herzog. I was also at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) as a Visiting Professor during 2019. I was an Associate Professor III at the Faculty of Physical Education at Unicamp. I have experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Physical Education and Sports, with an emphasis on Biomechanical Analysis Methods, working mainly on the following topics: biomechanics, soccer, futsal and mathematical models for sports.
