Has a degree in Geology from Universidade de São Paulo (1999) and Master degree jn Geosciences (Sedimentary Geology) from Universidade de São Paulo (2002). Stratigrapher and petroleum geologist expert with 17 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry. I have worked with exploration projects (oil and gas) in onshore and offshore basins. Onshore exploration cover both Paleozoic (Parnaíba and Solimões) and Proterozoic basins (São Francisco and Parecis), all of them in Brazil. Experience in the offshore exploration in basins from Brazilian Equatorial Margin, such as: Barreirinhas, Pará-Maranhão and Foz do Amazonas. Nowadays, I have been working in the regional evaluation and prospect characterization in the Gulf of Mexico (USA and Mexico) and an exploration project in the Guarija Basin (biogenic gas, Colombia). Large training in carbonate and siliciclastic reservoirs, including field trips in Oman (Proteorozoic and Tethian), Mexico (fracture reservoir), Italy (fracture reservoir), Bahamas (carbonate sedimentation), Namibia (carbonate reservoir, buildups, stratigraphy and diagenesis), Argentina (Precordillera - carbonate sedimentology and cyclicity) and Brazil (tectonic, structural geology, sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy in the Amazonas, Paraná, Parnaíba, São Francisco, Parecis, São Luiz and Sergipe-Alagoas basins).
