Medical Coordinator of Clinical Studies at the Hospital de Amor, with a focus on the Non-Oncological Clinical Research Expansion Project.In recent years, Hospital de Amor has expanded its operations beyond oncology, taking over the management of Santa Casa de Barretos, the Specialties Medical Clinic (AME), Basic Health Units, etc. The opportunity then arises to expand clinical research into other areas such as cardiology, rheumatology, neurology, intensive care, emergency, etc.From 2017 to 2021 he served as Medical Manager of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Barretos during the transfer of management and reengineering of the hospital.Santa Casa de Barretos is a centenary, philanthropic, regional hospital at the Brazilian Public Health System (SUS). But at the end of 2016, it was under intervention by the Public Ministry and about to close its doors, when its administration was transferred to the Hospital de Amor. A challenging period followed, with the formation of new medical teams, technical updating, implementation of new services such as hemodynamics and cardiac surgery, adaptation of processes to meet the principles of good clinical practices and patient safety, in permanent articulation with regulatory authorities of the SUS, health plan operators, mayors, health secretaries, civil society, etc.He studied the MBA in Health Management at FGV/SP, Av. Paulista Unit, from 2016 to 2019, in a fruitful period, when he was able to associate the theory taught in classes to his role as a manager.From 2009 to 2017 he was Coordinator of the Emergency Department of the Hospital Carlos Chagas, Guarulhos/SP. During this period, the hospital was acquired by the UnitedHealth Group with many changes and extensive corporate restructuring.Even occupying coordination/management roles, he kept the activities of direct patient care in the ICU, emergency, infirmary and outpatient clinic.He graduated in 2004, in Sao Paulo/SP, at the Medical College of the Sao Paulo University (USP). He has a specialization in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care and Internal Medicine.Natural from the rural area of #8203;#8203;Uberaba, State of Minas Gerais; apreciator of cheese and coffee, literature and complex Excel spreadsheets.
