Professor at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He has experience in power electronics, photovoltaic solar energy, electric drives, active filters, control systems and digital processing. Current research areas: inverters, modules and photovoltaic systems, power electronics and energy conversion, distributed generation of electrical energy, driving electrical machines, smart grids, electric vehicles and power quality. Member of the Brazilian Society of Power Electronics (SOBRAEP). Born in 1978, he attended high school at COTUCA (Colégio Técnico da Unicamp) between 1993 and 1995 and entered the undergraduate course in Electrical Engineering at FEEC/UNICAMP in 1997. master's degree in 2002 under the guidance of Prof. Ernesto Ruppert Filho. He completed his doctorate in electrical engineering in 2010 and held a postdoctoral internship until 2011. He joined UNESP, Campus de Sorocaba, and later joined FEEC/UNICAMP in 2013. Until 2022, he published 25 papers in journals and book chapters, presented 123 works at national and international conferences, raised around R$ 17.7 million in extra-budgetary resources for UNICAMP, supervised 17 master's and 5 doctoral researches, has 22 master's and doctorate, in addition to 2 post-doctoral orientations, supervised 13 undergraduate scientific students, 13 end-of-course works and 15 teaching internships, coordinated or coordinates 7 Research and Development projects with private companies, carried out 8 uninterrupted years of administrative activities at Unicamp, having been a member of the Scientific Council of NIPE (Interdisciplinary Center for Energy Planning), vice coordinator of Extension at FEEC, member the FEEC Congregation and Graduation Commission, among other activities. He created the LESF-Laboratory of Energy and Photovoltaic Systems at UNICAMP, which works with research, development and certification of inverters and photovoltaic modules. He created 3 Extension courses at Unicamp, accounting for more than 180 offerings, more than 3000 hours of classes and 14,000 people trained. He has participated in more than 60 defense and qualification boards, has participated in more than 20 scientific events and has acted or acts as a reviewer for more than 31 journals and scientific congresses.
