Lia Cazumi Yokoyama

Bachelor's Degree in History (FFLCH-USP, 1998), Master's degree in Social History (FFLCH-USP, 2002), Master's Degree in School and Human Development Psychology (IP-USP, 2017), Specialist in Education of Persons with Multiple Disabilities and Sensorial Disabilities (Mackenzie University, 2003), Specialist in Business Management in Food Services (SENAC University Center, 2008), Specialist in Inclusive Special Education (Faculdade Integrada Grande Fortaleza, 2011), Specialist in the Education of Persons with Disabilities in Communication (FMU, 2012).Extensive experience as a historian/researcher, having worked at the Mameluco publishing house (2004-2008) and the Antônio Ermírio de Moraes Project (Memória Votorantim, 2011-2015). Works with projects related to historical collections of private companies, specially family business collections and personal archives.Consistent and diversified experience as a teacher in regular primary education, in specialized care and in higher education: as a History Teacher at the Municipality of São Paulo (2009-2013); as a Inclusion Support and Follow-up Teacher (PAAI-CEFAI-DRE Ipiranga, 2011-2012); as a teacher at AHIMSA, attending students with deafblindness and multiple sensory disabilities (2003-2004); as an English teacher (Projeto Educação - Instituto Intercultural, 2001-2007); and as an assistant professor in higher education at Instituto Radial de Ensino e Pesquisa, where she started working as a sign language interpreter (2002-2004). Still in higher education, she was the tutor of the TCC (Course Conclusion Monography) discipline in the Postgraduate Course in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) - Distance Education Mode - UNILEYA (2016-2017). Since 2016, she's a lecturer as a guest professor, and a tutor at the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa da APAE DE SÃO PAULO, where she started working as a Sales Consultant for educational projects InCompany (2014-2015).As an educator/mediator, she developed projects with the Memória Votorantim Staff (2014-2015), composed the staff of educators at the 32nd, 34th and 35th São Paulo Arts Biennial (2016, 2021 and 2023), and works with accessibility in cultural spaces, museums and fairs such as SP-Arte and the Feira das Profissões at USP.
