Laureen Michelle Houllou Kido

Graduated in Biology from the Center for Biological Sciences (1991) at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Master's degree in Botany from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1995) and PhD in Science (Nuclear Energy in Agriculture) from the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture - CENA/USP (2003). She currently works as Researcher at the Center for Strategic Technologies of the Northeast (CETENE) and Technical Manager at the Laboratory of Applied Research to Biomes (LAPAB). Main lines of research in the areas of in vitro cultivation of plants (Species from the Atlantic Forest Biome), Analysis of the presence of contaminants (Micro and nanoplastic in mangrove environments) and development of bioproducts (Biosurfactants and bioplastic).
