At the present time as Professor at Universidade Federal Fluminense, at the Agricultural and Environmental Eng. SInce 2024 is the Head of the Agriculktural Eng. Department, also responsible for the disciplines of Rural Electrification, Agricultural Machionerry I, after been responsible for Rural Buildings and Utilities Installation disciplines, Alternative Energy and Modeling of Agricultural and Environmental Systems. From 2014 to 2018 held the position of Coordinator for the Agriculture and Environmental Eng.. Previously, worked as an Engineer at Vale Manning Company, at the Energy Dep. develop several projects in seeking for innovative ways to insert renewable and more efficient energy solutions in several applications (existing and development activities). With more then 2 years working a the GTZ German Technical Coop. Agency (Rio de Janeiro Office) foster technology transfer between German and Brazilian companies, in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency; whenever possible within a CDM related framework. Has a Bachelor (1995) and MSc. (1998) degrees in Agricultural Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering obtained in the State University of Campinas UNICAMP (2003). Has a strong experience on EPC Turnkey Projects, on the years that spend working as part of the management team on the Engineering and Constructions Company in Brazil. Spend the last 5 years working in International research projects in the fields of Renewable Energy Systems, poverty alleviation and CDM in countries from Europe, Africa, China and Indonesia. His experience include planning and cost control activities in Engineering, Purchase, Construction and Commissioning of projects that runs from Metallurgic, Paper and Pulp to petrochemical areas.
