He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín (1995), a Master's degree in Physics with a concentration in Solid State Physics from the University of São Paulo (1998), and a Ph.D. in Physics with a concentration in Condensed Matter Physics, also from the University of São Paulo (2002). He completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (2002-2004). He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Northern Tocantins (UFNT). He has experience in the field of Semiconductor Physics, with emphasis on electronic transport and electrical properties of surfaces, interfaces, and thin films; optical properties and spectroscopy of condensed matter; and other interactions of matter with radiation and particles. He also works with instrumentation, automation, and control systems applied to Biomedical Engineering and Physics, integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for experimental data analysis, complex systems modeling, and the development of innovative solutions in scientific and biomedical instrumentation.
