First, at the Membrane Protein Crystallography Group, Division of Molecular Biosciences, Imperial College London, England, with supervision of Dr. Bernadette Byrne. Subsequently, at the Biochemistry Department, at the University of Alberta, with supervision of Dr. Larry Fliegel. The research interest is biochemistry and physics biomolecular, emphasizing functional and structural studies of membrane protein. Cloning, expression, purification, site-specific mutagenesis, characterization of glycosyltransferases of Xylella fastidiosa and studies of human isoform of Na+/H+ exchanger (NHE1), are common keywords found in the body of work published.
