Has graduation (2001) and Master's (2007) in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo. His dissertation "The Modern Design of Saul Steinberg: work and context" received the HQ Mix Award for the best academic work in the area in 2008. He is an illustrator and graphic artist, having collaborated for more than 50 magazines in the country and illustrated more than 30 books. He received awards in Brazil and abroad, such as first place at the Porto Alegre International Press Drawing Exhibition (2003), three Jabuti awards and an Honorable Mention at the Bologna International Children's Book Fair (Italy, 2011). He is the author of articles on illustration and graphic memory, in addition to being interested in connections between different creative fields. He teaches practical and theoretical courses in graphic arts, such as "The Graphic Chronicle of Saul Steinberg" at the Maria Antonia University Center (USP) and "Comics and Experimental Poetry" at Casa das Rosas/Espaço Haroldo de Campos. Founder of the Charivari collective, he released 14 editions and many experimental publications. He is a member of Abes - Brazilian Association of Semiotic Studies, Society of Illustrators (USA), AEILIJ and SIB (Society of Illustrators of Brazil), in which he was a member from 2004 to 2014. He was a professor in the areas of arts, graphic design and illustration at FACAMP (2007) and EBAC ( 2016-2023). Currently teaches at EBAC Online (2021 ), École INTUIT Lab (2023 ), and the postgraduate course Communication Design and Creative Strategies at IED-SP (2025 -). He is a member of the CNPq research group Memorables: affective graphic manifestations. Works in the fields of Arts, Visual Communication, Visual Perception, Drawing, Illustration, Visual Narrative, and Graphic Memory. Holds academic training in art history and visual culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, with an emphasis on fine arts, graphic design, illustration, sequential art, visual poetry and architecture.
